Our History. Our Mission.

The Bread Run

In 2002, out of an act of kindness, Pastor Darrisaw partnered with Cub Foods to pick up and deliver extra food not needed to local rehab centers in Minneapolis. In 2015, Pastor Darrisaw past this nonprofit delivery service to Pastor Samuel Butler Jr. Pastor Samuel took this and ran with it. Bread of Life now delivers 2000 pounds weekly to local charities, and just shy of 100,000 pounds in 2019. Bread of Life continues their path in 2020 providing food to Wellstone/Neighborhood House, Pillsbury's Brian Coyle Food Shelf,  RS Eden Rehab, Grace in the City, Catholic Charities, Freedom workers and more. Cub Foods and HyVee are ready to increase food loads when ready. With your donations, The Bread of Life Ministry will be able to provide the transportation of food to these shelters, food shelves, and other outreach programs. If this sounds like a ministry outreach you can get behind, let's serve together.
